Welcome to nqtguide.co.uk - the ‘temporary’ home for lots of super tips and advice for new NQT’s. All the articles on this site have been written by teachers, for teachers and you will find contributions from 17 different teachers throughout these pages.
The tips and advice on this site will, in time, be ‘released’ as part of the ‘NQT Survival Guide’- the much requested ‘sequel’ to the PGCE Survival Guide which will also include over 350 tips collated from twitter over the past months using the #nqttips hashtag. The NQT Survival Guide will be available to download, for free, from this site and will also be made available throuhg amazon and other channels – both in a professionally printed ‘hard copy’ and a range of e-book formats.
The Survival Guide is on track to be published by the end of 2011, but in the mean time, I hope some of the content from the guide may make useful reading.
Please note, that all of the content on this site is un-edited and is as received from the contributor. All content, is, of course, the views of the individual contributor and does not necessarily represent the views of their school or employer.
I hope the information on this site, and eventually in the book, will be useful!
Enjoy your NQT year!
